About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Back Office Wholesale Trading Gas team at Repsol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our gas trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Settlement of physical and derivatives natural gas and LNG transactions, including invoice generation, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution
- Payment processing and timely interfacing with our Global Services team
- Regulatory reporting compliance for various regulatory bodies, including CNMV, Cores, EMIR, REMIT, and others
- Liaising with our Compliance, Regulators, and Exchanges teams to ensure adherence to requirements
- Oversight of regulatory reporting tasks automation in collaboration with our Process Support/IT team
- Ensuring new business activities comply with governance and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields
- Advanced level of English proficiency
- 2+ years of experience in back office roles related to natural gas, LNG, or commodity trading
- Market knowledge, especially in gas/LNG, is advantageous
- Familiarity with ETRM systems and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SAP, Allegro, or other ETRM systems preferred
- Understanding of process automation and RPA tools
