**Job Summary**

Bryden Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our international MEP team in Barcelona or Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of Data Centre projects in Spain, ensuring a high standard of engineering in accordance with our standards and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee the day-to-day tasks associated with mechanical engineering and mission-critical projects
  • Manage and coordinate projects to meet all required deadlines
  • Undertake engineering activities as required and act as Design Team Leader when necessary
  • Write technical documents and provide leadership and mentoring to project team members

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Building Services, or Industrial Engineering from a Spanish University
  • Chartered Engineer Status
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within Mission Critical Projects in Spain/Europe
  • Experience in Construction/Consulting for mission-critical projects
  • Full knowledge of Mechanical Technical design for all RIBA stages

  • Well-developed engineering skills and ability to understand and formulate design decisions
  • Experience of working at a senior level across a wide sector of clients and projects
  • Good negotiation, communication, influencing, and written skills
