Job Summary

MPS is seeking a highly skilled Principal Analog Design Engineer to join the Automotive BMS Product Line. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing low power precision analog and mixed signal circuits, influencing architectural decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system/sub-system technical performance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop low power precision analog and mixed signal circuits, including LDOs, Charge Pumps, Bandgaps, Amplifiers, and/or DACs/ADCs.
  • Influence architectural decisions to ensure system/sub-system technical performance requirements are achieved.
  • Develop macro models and participate in top-level simulation.
  • Actively participate in the entire product development cycle.
  • Determine design-for-test strategies to evaluate system/sub-system/block performance.
  • Provide guidance to layout engineers on critical analog implementation aspects, monitor progress of layouts, and close the loop with post-layout extraction and simulation.
  • Work with a team of engineers to evaluate intended product behavior pre-tape-out and post-tape-out.
  • Participate in hiring and mentoring of junior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Requires Master's Degree or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years' experience within analog design.
  • Highly motivated individual.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of transistor-level design.
  • Experience within BCD process.
  • Experience with mixed signal design.
