Defence Sector Opportunity

We are expanding our teams in the Defence sector where you will be involved in an important European hypersonic threat defence program, leading edge in its field in R&D, where GMV will lead the navigation system and participate in its guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out the development and implementation of advanced navigation, guidance and control algorithms in the military and defence domain, within the framework of a major European programme.
  • Research technologies for application to a hypersonic and other high-performance airborne threat interceptor.
  • Analyse existing and state-of-the-art algorithms, develop and implement new algorithms, as well as their coding.

Requirements

  • Aeronautical engineers or engineers from related fields with a passion and interest for algorithms and the defence sector.
  • A high level of applied mathematics, classical mechanics and MATLAB/Simulink and C++.
  • Knowledge of navigation (Kalman filter, hybridisation, GNSS error modelling...), knowledge of guidance and control (classical, modern...) or Python programming will also be a nice to have.
