Job Description
As a Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer at GMV, you will be responsible for defining guidance, navigation and control systems for various projects in the Defence sector. Your expertise will help us develop optimal sensor fusion solutions for challenging missile environments. You will contribute to analysis, design, and development of GNC systems, including modelling, simulation, and control of dynamic systems, as well as collaborate on system definition using model-based system engineering and flight mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cutting-edge GNC solutions for missiles and guided ammunition
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture
- Design and implement advanced sensor fusion algorithms to enhance system performance
- Collaborate with experts to develop and refine system models, simulations, and test plans
Requirements and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess an Engineering Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, or equivalent fields. Strong knowledge of Matlab and Simulink, as well as experience in flight dynamics modelling and control simulation, are essential. Proficiency in data fusion, advanced GNC solutions, and design of autonomous aerial systems is also necessary. Fluency in English is required.
