Job Title: HSE Officer

At Hatch, we are passionate about creating a better world through positive change. We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Officer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG), a dynamic team of professionals committed to world-class project delivery across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the superuser of Hatch's health and safety information management system.
  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets for safety statistics, audits, and inspections.
  • Keep records of isolations and padlocks.
  • Manage the site vehicle register.
  • Oversee the registration of incident reports, including tracking actions and closures.
  • Assign project incident numbers and ensure initial notifications are distributed correctly.
  • Issue incident reports and maintain a distribution record.
  • Verify construction workforce hours and publish weekly and monthly internal and external statistics.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting training materials.
  • Prepare informative materials and present site inductions.
  • Take minutes and records of the morning meeting and monthly management meeting.
  • Manage and maintain safety information systems and training.
  • Perform other general office tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Five years of experience as an administrator in the field of safety, construction, or engineering.
  • Understanding of the challenges of working in a remote location.
  • High level of computer skills.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team environment.
