Senior Internal Auditor

Grifols is seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our internal audit department, you will be responsible for conducting global audit projects across all areas of our business divisions.
Responsibilities:- Provide independent assurance and consulting services to improve the quality and effectiveness of our governance, risk management, and internal controls.
- Document and present audit reports to senior management.
- Apply knowledge of internal and external business conditions to identify incidents or events that could impact our strategy, objectives, or risk profile.
- Analyze the underlying reasons of issues identified in an audit and determine cause-and-effect relationships.
- Apply knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and make recommendations for audit strategies based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of business risk.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years' audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm or internal audit.
- Extensive knowledge of business processes, accounting entries, and financial statements.
- Participation in SOX assessments, fraud/anticorruption investigations, and business risk services projects is highly desirable.
- Professional audit designation (CIA, CPA, or CFE) is preferable.
- Advanced level in Spanish and English (C1).
- Proficient knowledge of MS-Office suite (Excel) and experience with SAP is valuable.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, planning, and analytical skills.
- Dynamic, proactive, and decisive person.
- Ability to travel internationally (30% of time as an average).
