Job Description

At Engineeringuk, we're seeking a talented Capacity Installation Specialist to join our AWS Infrastructure Services team. As a key member of our Infrastructure Delivery team, you'll play a critical role in the scaling and physical deployment of new data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install cabling and new racks within data centers, adhering to security and safety best practices.
  • Installation and testing of copper and Fiber Optic cabling, as well as basic build and troubleshooting of network devices.
  • Manage multiple projects, delivering within designated time frames, and working in noisy areas with varying temperatures.
  • Travel within geographical work areas, moving from data center to data center within the same region.
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience in networking.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with customers during problem resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
