**Job Summary:**
We're seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies that align with our business goals. Your expertise will help us identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services to our customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• **Category Management:** Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• **Procurement Process Management:** Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements, developing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of category strategy and activities.
• **Market Analysis and Benchmarking:** Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends, potential suppliers, and competitive pricing, providing insights and recommendations.
• **Procurement Operations:** Establish and manage a network of reliable suppliers, overseeing the onboarding process, including supplier visits, contract negotiations, compliance checks, and performance evaluations.
• **Contract Negotiation and Management:** Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, focusing on securing favorable terms and conditions, managing contract renewals, amendments, and compliance.
• **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, developing contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
• **Supplier Relationship and Performance Management:** Supplier selection, visit, management, and evaluation, in coordination with Product Engineering & Quality, to assure desired levels of service and capacity.
• **Category Enablement and Maintenance:** Cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
**Requirements:**
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful category strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
