About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at JBT Corporation. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining our equipment to ensure it runs at top operating efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting in customer facilities
- Provide accurate and detailed service visit reports
- Create solutions to new technical problems and develop suggestions for continuous improvement
- Support installations when needed
- Coordinate technical communication flow inside JBT organization
- Participate in creating and applying working procedures for service department tasks
- Inform of potential improvements and progress
- Train service personnel on customer equipment
- Respond to technical questions from customers, technicians, and sales force
- Follow up on jobs and services provided to customers
- Assist sales departments by providing technical information and customer assistance
Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience from a similar role or tasks working with equipment as Service/Installation Engineer in Food/Pharmaceutical/Chemical industry or as Maintenance Technician within the Process industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to travel and work flexible hours as the job may require, including weekends
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision
- Experience in using Microsoft Office is valued
- Valid driving license
