Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders. This includes conducting periodic safety inspections, supporting the management and investigation of accidents and incidents, and promoting a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic safety inspections in the offices and work centers
- Support the management and investigation of accidents and incidents, reporting to the HSE Manager
- Assist in the coordination of all HSE activities for the work centers and activities outside the work centers
- Promote the HSE culture by coordinating the dissemination of safety information and promoting good health and safety practices
- Collaborate with the HSE Manager to ensure the inclusion of HSE in all company activities
- Create safe habits and ensure the safety of workers in their charge, monitoring and enforcing occupational safety and health standards
- Participate in and defend internal and external audits, including legal audits and ISO 45001/14001 certification
- Interact with external and mutual prevention services for the correct management of delegated or outsourced activities
- Ensure the updating of the EVR of workplaces and emergency plans and drills
- Supervise and record the training and information of all employees in their area of influence
- Monitor the company's own health surveillance campaigns
- Elaborate, revise, and modify work procedures and instructions
- Promote prevention and awareness of subcontractors
- Perform other administrative tasks related to the position
Requirements
- University degree or postgraduate degree in PRL (Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics)
- Experience in IMS audits (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) and internal auditor certification
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an HSE Technician
- Knowledge of safety at work legislation
- Fluent in English (B2 or higher)
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Driving license
