We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Welding and NDT Specialist to join our team at Vèringer Engineering. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Discipline Leaders during the Engineering and Construction phases of Onshore/Offshore Projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and non-destructive testing, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar function. They will be responsible for reviewing and validating documentation from manufacturers, providing technical support to Discipline Leaders, and supporting the development of Pipe and Equipment Material Inspection Plans (ITPs).

The successful candidate will be a self-managing, dynamic, and determined individual with good communication skills and strong analytical capabilities. They will be fluent in English and have a strong understanding of MS Office, SAP, and MS Project or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate documentation from manufacturers
  • Provide technical support to Discipline Leaders
  • Support the development of Pipe and Equipment Material Inspection Plans (ITPs)
  • Technical support to Discipline leaders during the development of the engineering of the different projects
  • Quality Control Surveillance (QCS) on issues related to welding and NDT

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar function
  • Accreditation as International Welding Engineering (IWE) or a related field
  • International NDT accreditation (level II) is required and mandatory for WPS validation
  • Fluent in English (MANDATORY)
