Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Welding and NDT Engineer to join our team at Vèringer Engineering. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for the development and management of the technical area of welding and non-destructive testing (NDE) at the departmental level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, clarify, and validate documentation from manufacturers related to welding, thermal treatments, non-destructive testing, pressure testing, and equipment leakage procedures.
  • Provide technical support to discipline leaders during the bid submission phase, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and technical dossier verification.
  • Support discipline leaders in the development of pipe and equipment material inspection plans (ITPs) and provide technical support during project development.
  • Ensure quality control surveillance (QCS) on issues related to welding and NDT, including activation and inspection.
  • Occasionally participate in meetings with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients, as required by the project.
Requirements:
  • Accreditation as International Welding Engineer (IWE) or related field.
  • International NDT accreditation (level II) for WPS validation.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar function.
  • Technical skills: MS Office, SAP, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory). French and/or Italian are valuable assets.
