Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operational Planning Specialist to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our supply chain operations team, you will be responsible for driving and executing regional capacity planning for EMEA Packaging Material converting factories. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the S&OP process to ensure accurate demand forecasting and supply chain planning
• Maintaining regional capacity models, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
• Developing and maintaining tools and reports to identify capacity issues and model solutions
• Optimizing regional capacity and demand plans for production stops, new product launches, and other business requirements
• Aligning and acting on allocation changes with stakeholders across various functions (Business Management, Central, Markets, Factories)
• Sustaining customer service levels through demand leveling, pre-production planning, and PM reallocation
• Supporting Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities as needed
• Leading or participating in global production planning projects/initiatives throughout the region
• Driving World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities to improve production planning performance and KPIs
Requirements
We believe you have at least 2-3 years of operational experience in Supply Chain Management or equivalent, with knowledge and experience of project management skills, preferably WCM. You should possess strong analytical skills, fluency in English, and great communication skills. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Planning, SAP, and P2/P2 Planning systems, and a broad view of the supply chain including customer, business management, capacity planning, and production operations. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and workload, are also essential.
