Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled 2D Game Artist to join our team at Datascope Recruitment. As a 2D Game Artist, you will be responsible for creating illustrations of characters and scenarios in different artistic styles, tailored towards different ages, designing both concept and final art for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and creating 2D game art, including characters, environments, and user interfaces
  • Developing and implementing art styles and visual concepts for games
  • Collaborating with the creative team to ensure consistency and quality of art assets
  • Working on user interfaces by designing buttons, backgrounds, and other graphic elements, and animating 2D characters and elements

Requirements

  • Training in art, illustration and/or 2D animation
  • Minimum experience of 3 years, highly valued if it is in education or gamification projects
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Software proficiency: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Spine
  • B2 English and 3D knowledge is an asset
  • Strong communication skills in collaboration with the creative team
  • Possess the ability to transmit technical knowledge to users
