About the Role

The Business Technology Leader is a key position in our Client Engineering agile team, working closely with Account Teams and IBM Technology to demonstrate how our technology can deliver business value to clients. This role requires a strong partnership with Account Technical Leaders, Customer Support Managers, Brand Sellers, and IBM Services to co-create business-focused client engagements that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Teams to identify and qualify business opportunities for Client Engineering using business acumen and technology acumen.
  • Collaborate with the Account Teams to engage in experiential selling with clients, co-creating solutions to their hardest business challenges.
  • Assist Squad Leaders in pipeline management and reporting.
  • Own the engagement close-out process and hand-off to other IBM teams and customers.
  • Drive business value to clients and internal IBM stakeholders by creating business value assets and delivering business outcomes.
  • Work with client business stakeholders to understand business-level outcomes and guide projects and squads to deliver those outcomes.
  • Propose IBM product extensions and linkages to solve client business challenges.
  • Translate client needs and desired outcomes into actionable strategies and roadmaps.
