About the RoleThis is a critical position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the Planning Manager to develop and issue a detailed monthly master production schedule of plant-specific key global brands.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning: Prepare production plans for manufacturing and packaging areas using site software systems to ensure correct market supply, avoiding out-of-stock situations and overstocks in the markets.
- Demand Change Analysis: Monitor month-on-month demand changes over a rolling 3-12 month horizon and validate these changes with markets and FG sites.
- New Products/ Product Changes: Incorporate demand for new products into the plan and liaise with markets and FG sites to interrogate and validate demand changes.
- Inventory Management: Manage site finished goods, bulk, and production materials inventories, minimizing inventory write-offs and monitoring shelf-life/expiry dates.
- Capacity Balancing: Collaborate with the Site Planning Team to resolve asset balancing trade-offs ensuring sufficient supply performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and experience working with SAP/S4Hana/APO. They will be able to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop strategies to optimize production planning and inventory management.
