Job Title: Electrical Engineer for Marine and Energy Projects

Wärtsilä is a leading technology company that enables sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Valencia, Spain.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in project execution and studies for gas plants on LNG and LPG carriers, onshore and offshore. You will develop system design and prepare engineering documentation, specify equipment for purchase, and review vendor documentation and supplier follow-up.

You will also ensure relevant technical information flows through other engineering disciplines, prepare electrical documentations, and participate in design reviews, such as Hazop sessions and 3D model reviews.

Additionally, you will provide technical support for commissioning and start-up activities, participate in FATs at Suppliers facilities, and ensure compliance with applicable Classification Societies rules for the marine industry.

We are looking for a candidate with a BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, valid Spanish Work Permit or EU Passport Holder, and experience from maritime, Oil Gas and/or process industry engineering.

You should have technical knowledge of electrical motors, VFD, MCC, electrical cabinets, pressure/temperature/flow/level instruments, fire and gas detection systems, and familiarity with applicable Classification Societies rules for the marine industry.
