Lead Product Manager for Video API

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for functional areas of our Vonage Video API platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design a positive user experience for customers transitioning to our CPaaS APIs Dashboard.
  • Perform industry and competitive analysis to identify trends, portfolio gaps, and new product opportunities.
  • Define key metrics to evaluate product performance and analyze data to inform product decisions.
  • Work closely with engineering and UX to translate customer needs into product requirements and user stories.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager delivering client or cloud-based platform products and features.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, customers, and executives.
  • Action-oriented with an ability to leverage collaboration skills and initiative to get things done.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Experience identifying success metrics and analyzing data.
  • Technical background in APIs & SDKs using WebRTC is expected.
  • Strong technical software development background with the ability to prototype with the product APIs.
  • Background in building real-time video or voice-based customer experiences.
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
