Senior Product Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Developer to join our Technology team at Denodo. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Denodo Platform.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of the platform, including connectors, execution engine, query optimization, cache engine, monitoring, and resource management. You will also be involved in the development of new features and the maintenance of existing ones.
Our team uses a variety of technologies, including different types of databases, Big Data sources, SaaS sources, Web Services, message queues, and cloud technologies. You will have the chance to work with a diverse range of tools and technologies, including Java, Spring Framework, and Docker.
As a Senior Product Developer, you will receive training on the Denodo Platform and our development process. You will also have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced developers and contribute to the design and implementation of automated tests.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in software development, preferably with experience in Java and Java / Jakarta EE. You should have a good understanding of design patterns, SQL, and relational database design. Excellent written communication skills in English are also essential.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and maintain the Denodo Platform

- Develop new features and maintain existing ones
- Contribute to the design and implementation of automated tests
- Creation and maintenance of product documentation
Desired Skills & Experience
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science
- At least 3 years of experience in Software Development
- Programming experience with Java SE and Java / Jakarta EE
- Knowledge of Design Patterns
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database design
- Good written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Team worker with a positive attitude
