Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a seasoned Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and take ownership of supplier quality and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct supplier qualification, certification, and ongoing assessments to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
  • Manage and resolve quality issues through escape management and corrective actions, using root cause analysis techniques such as Red-X and 8D.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address systemic product and process design issues related to supplier performance.
  • Lead processes for supplier audits, source inspections, material release, and manage Corrective Action Boards.
  • Conduct trend analysis and audits across suppliers in the region, identifying and addressing larger quality concerns.
  • Lead supplier development initiatives to improve underperforming suppliers and ensure sustained compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with factories located outside Europe, resolving any supplier-related issues and conducting on-site audits as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Fluent English is required, and it will be the only language spoken at work.
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential for both written and verbal interactions.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
  • Proven experience in supplier qualification, auditing, and quality issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies such as Red-X and 8D.
  • Ability to lead supplier development and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site supplier audits and quality assessments.
