Supplier Product Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Product Quality Engineer to join our team at Alstom in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda, Barcelona. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance plans for purchased parts, ensuring compliance with Alstom requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor quality during the development phase of supplier products and processes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate quality risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of quality procedures and guidelines, and ensure their implementation across the organization.
- Graduate degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or quality assurance.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality or production management.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of quality tools, such as PFMEA, control plans, and QRQC.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on quality inspection and control.
- Metallic commodity knowledge, with a preference for welding engineers.
