Job Overview:

We are in search of a Senior SAP Solutions Architect who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our support and delivery of a wide array of SAP solutions and services to our clientele. Reporting to the ERP Platforms team lead, you will be part of a global team that supports services, projects, and our journey towards S/4HANA across the Airbus Defence and Space SAP ecosystem. Within our team, you will collaborate with experienced professionals while contributing to an ambitious business transformation initiative aimed at delivering next-generation SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the continuous enhancement of the SAP landscape and collaborate on maintenance activities with service and cluster owners.
  • Actively engage in the development of Architecture Requirement Dossiers (ARD).
  • Coordinate Lifecycle Management processes, including change and transport management.
  • Manage system and maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Develop and implement security measures for the SAP system landscape.
  • Participate actively in SAP system audits.
  • Administer SAP Basis, focusing on error analysis, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Contribute to S/4 strategies for the future SAP landscape within the Military Air System domain.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the SAP environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP system architecture (e.g., S/4HANA) and ideally one of the following modules: SAP PP, CS/PM, FI/CO, MM, SD, EHS, EWM, SolMan, Portals, along with SAP user, role, and authorization management.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager (change, transport, and test management) and SAP Basis knowledge (error analysis, monitoring, performance).
  • Proficiency in drafting technical specifications and participating in design discussions.
  • Understanding of secure interfaces within the SAP environment and initial experience in SAP ERP implementation, upgrades, and migrations is advantageous.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; proficiency in additional European languages (German and French) would be beneficial.
