Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior SAP Solutions Architect who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our support and delivery of a wide array of SAP solutions and services for our clients. Reporting to the team lead of the AirPower ERP Platforms, you will be part of an international team dedicated to supporting services, projects, and our S/4 Hana transformation journey across the Airbus Defence and Space SAP ecosystem. You will collaborate with knowledgeable colleagues while engaging in a significant business transformation initiative aimed at delivering next-generation SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the continuous enhancement of the SAP landscape and maintenance tasks in partnership with service and cluster managers.
  • Actively contribute to the development of Architecture Requirement Dossiers (ARD).
  • Coordinate Lifecycle Management processes, including change and transport management.
  • Manage system and maintenance operations.
  • Design and implement hardening measures for the SAP system landscape.
  • Participate actively in SAP system audits.
  • Administer SAP Basis functions, including error analysis, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Engage in strategic planning for S/4 initiatives within the Military Air System sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the SAP domain.
  • Familiarity with SAP system architecture (e.g., S/4HANA), particularly in modules such as SAP PP, CS/PM, FI/CO, MM, SD, EHS, EWM, SolMan, and Portals, along with SAP user, role, and authorization management.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager (including change, transport, and test management) and SAP Basis knowledge (error analysis, monitoring, performance).
  • Proficiency in drafting technical specifications and participating in design discussions.
  • Understanding of secure interfaces within the SAP environment, with initial experience in SAP ERP implementation, upgrades, and migrations being advantageous.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, with the ability to communicate in additional European languages (German and French) being a plus.
