Job Overview

Applus IDIADA is seeking a skilled Engineer to enhance our Regulatory Compliance division.

Key Responsibilities :

Execute tasks related to the certification of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), automated vehicles, and compliance with relevant automotive regulations. Oversee projects focused on Cybersecurity and Software update validations.

Core Duties :

Review and analyze documentation provided by manufacturers. Conduct prototype evaluations, including preparation, instrumentation, and testing at various locations. Assess and interpret test outcomes. Prepare homologation documentation. Coordinate the entire approval process, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Engage in discussions with manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Contribute to Research and Development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background :
A degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or Aeronautical Engineering is required. A Master's degree is preferred, but other engineering qualifications may be considered based on skills and experience.

Professional Experience :
Prior experience in automotive engineering is advantageous.
Familiarity with quality assurance, regulatory standards, or compliance processes is beneficial.
Knowledge of measurement systems, protocols, and equipment is essential.
Understanding of emerging automotive technologies related to General Safety Regulation 2, particularly intelligent vehicle safety and dynamic systems.

Language Proficiency :
Proficient in English is mandatory; additional languages such as French, Italian, or German are a plus.
