Key Responsibilities- Investigate ethics and compliance concerns, communicate investigation outcomes, and follow up on corrective actions
- Lead the enhancement of Lear's Ethics & Compliance program through training, communication, and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Review compliance data to identify potential risk areas for audit review
- Prepare materials for presentation to the European leadership team and functional leaders
- Conduct legal research and analysis of findings related to existing and new legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
- Draft internal memoranda and summaries on research findings and present findings to leadership
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication, internally and externally, to effectively deliver department objectives and services
- Full fluency in English and at least one more major European language (or Arabic)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal, audit, or comparable compliance experience
- University degree in Law or Economics
- Experience working with a global team
- Experience with compliance investigations, including financial-related investigations
- Outstanding analytical and communications skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with Senior Management on a global level
- Project management experience
- Team player, collaborative work style
- A high attention to detail, process, and organization
- Ability to travel around 40% of the time within the region for investigations and training
- Desired experience with performing forensic audits or related experience detecting, investigating, and preventing fraud
- Building or managing a third-party risk management program, including use of outside screening vendors and working with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act or bribery violations, including investigations and remediation
