WOOD is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in the Oil & Gas Industry. The successful candidate will be part of our discipline team working on current major projects and will report to the designated discipline lead or manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage project engineering teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement project engineering plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality control.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure project success.
  4. Ensure compliance with international codes and standards, such as ANSI, ASME, API, and NFPA.
  5. Develop and maintain 3D models using Microstation, PDS, and SmartPlan3D.
  6. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project progress and quality.
  7. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  8. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  10. Requirements:
    1. Relevant degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
    2. Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry.
    3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    4. Ability to work in an international environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
    5. Fluent in English and Spanish.
    6. Valid European Work Permit.
