The Role
We are seeking a Local Regulatory Compliance Officer to own Dojo's regulatory compliance programme for Spain. The successful candidate will establish and maintain a robust compliance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and standards set by the Banco de España. This role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of an effective Regulatory Compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to 1st Line functions on regulatory obligations
- Support local Senior Management and Group Compliance functions in executing against regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Lead the delivery of the management of the firm's regulatory obligations in Spain, including influencing Senior Leaders and providing advice, review, and challenge
- Distribute periodic compliance guidance and updates to relevant employees
- Coordinate and oversee timely provision of regulatory reports to Spanish regulatory bodies
- Act as the conduit for external regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and embed compliance policies, programmes, and procedures tailored to Spanish regulatory requirements
- Support and drive regular reviews and updates of policies and procedures to ensure continued relevance
- Provide training and support to other team members on local compliance policies
