We have established a new Financial Centre of Excellence in Zaragoza city and are seeking a highly skilled accountant to join our General Ledger team.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional to manage our general ledger, support month-end closing operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely postings
  • Support and participate in month-end closing operations, including reconciliations and account analysis
  • Communicate with controllers and plants to ensure seamless financial operations
  • Determine and communicate month-end accruals for all topics, including open POs, pensions, taxes, and payroll
  • Support pensions, tax, and deferred tax booking and reconciliation
  • Manage and implement account reconciliations, controls, and compliance
  • Manage inter- and intra-company reconciliations
  • Analyze and justify P&L and BS account balances
  • Manage and validate month-end closing bookings with controllers
  • Interface with internal and external auditors
  • Manage account revaluations (foreign currency)
  • Process payments, bank statements, and bookings, and perform bank reconciliations

**Requirements:**

  • Completed degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar field
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in accounting and finance administration
  • Experience in a large multinational, ideally automotive or manufacturing company
  • SAP knowledge
  • Fluent English
  • Fluent Spanish or French
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment is advantageous
