Job Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Specialist will report to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for carrying out maintenance work, including preventive and predictive maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment. The specialist will ensure that tasks are executed at the right time, with quality, and using a technically correct method to achieve maximum performance and availability of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a member of the intervention team and/or support team in emergency situations, or take over as substitutes for other emergency team appointments, as defined in the internal emergency plan.
- Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance work on electrical equipment, instruments, and control systems, in accordance with the maintenance plan.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical plant equipment that is faulty or not functioning properly.
- Supervise E&I tasks contracted to external companies.
- Participate in maintenance meetings to resolve breakdowns.
- Prepare repair and/or technical reports of various kinds and collaborate in the analysis and investigation of incidents.
- Collaborate in the preparation of maintenance procedures and instructions and completion of the associated records of their competence, shutdown planning, maintenance plans, proposing, if possible, improvements therein.
- Use the Plant Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders, work permits, material requests, closure reports, etc., also carrying out the tasks of the person in charge when his or her substitute is designated.
- Ensure the correct and effective implementation of the integrated safety, health, environment, and serious accident management system for the location of the assigned group, based on the responsibilities indicated in the application procedures.
