Maintenance Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Specialist at Sofitec, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production sites. This includes finalizing new production sites, machine transfers, and start-ups, as well as following up on new industrial parts and processes with the maintenance team.
Key Tasks:
- Plan and execute maintenance interventions and repairs on machines, equipment, and means;
- Define and adapt maintenance levels to maximize site efficiency and production results;
- Organize and carry out level II preventive maintenance;
- Respond to intervention requests and identify problems;
- Ensure the definition and implementation of preventive maintenance programs with production;
- Train operators on level I preventive maintenance and verify its implementation;
- Coordinate level III interventions, including planning, follow-up, and corrective actions;
- Ensure the operation of building equipment and establish provisional budgets and control service costs;
- Rationalize and manage spare parts stock;
- Coordinate and supervise a team, and ensure the replacement of technicians if necessary;
- Ensure the organization of necessary training and qualification under your responsibility;
- Participate in the search for and evaluation of suppliers in collaboration with the Group Purchasing department;
- Work closely with all Group Maintenance departments to harmonize practices;
- Ensure communication between management and service personnel, and elaborate reports on periodic activity;
- Create and manage technical and maintenance documentation;
- Respect our Quality system, safety standards, and technical specifications in all tasks;
- Ensure that all employees, trainees, or external service providers act in accordance with the rules of prevention of occupational hazards;
- Perform any other tasks established by Management.
Required Skills:
Technical skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic areas, as well as proficiency in CAD software (SOLIDWORKS), programming tools for robots (Fanuc/ABB), and PLC (Siemens). Language proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory, with optional French. Job Type: Full-time, Work Location: In person.
