Overview

The IT division is seeking a Project Management Specialist. The individual will oversee project management and IT services, requiring substantial experience in managing the complete software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

Core Duties:

Lead project management efforts: planning, coordination, and execution. Assess the requirements of various business sectors to identify and define technical solutions that provide support. Supervise and monitor IT projects in collaboration with business units. Manage relationships with development and maintenance service providers for systems supporting assigned areas.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

Bachelor's degree, ideally in engineering. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Spanish. Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical project management, particularly in software development or IT solutions deployment, within consulting firms or IT. Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies (.net, SQL Server, Azure DevOps), web development (Java, REST APIs), and cloud services. Familiarity with agile methodologies; relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Master) are advantageous. The candidate should possess excellent communication and coordination abilities, as collaboration with other IT functional leaders, business partners, user areas, vendors, and outsourced IT support will be essential.
