UI/UX Designer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team at Axes in Motion. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs for our mobile games, from concept to polished working interfaces.

Your primary focus will be on designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces that meet the needs of our millions of users. You will work closely with our design and programming teams to conceive and execute upon designs that exceed our users' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create UX wireframes following market needs and user-centered design principles.
  • Work closely with the design and programming teams to conceive and execute upon designs.
  • Elaborate attractive, user-friendly, and innovative designs, focusing on usability and best practices of the F2P industry.
  • Create visual pieces, buttons, iconography, menus, and other UI elements that work with different aspect ratios and game styles.
  • Iterate designs using playtest, developer, and user feedback.
  • Continually improve the existing user experience, even after a product is launched.
  • Design the game's visual identity, UI style, and brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and knowledge in UI design, including visual, iconography, buttons, and menus design.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in UX design, such as user research, usability testing, and understanding user behavior.
  • Ability to work with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, or other tools to create new visual pieces from existing screens.
  • Knowledge of mobile systems such as Android and iOS.
  • Gamification knowledge to help in user acquisition and retention growth.
  • VFX experience is a plus; being able to create animations and engaging visual effects is important to enhance the visual and interactivity of the interface.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
