About the Role
As a Clinical Consultant Surgical at Johnson & Johnson, you will be responsible for developing our surgical business and ensuring best clinical outcomes. Our goal is to establish Heart Recovery as a new standard of care, requiring a Heart Team approach. This involves patient support through education, implementing latest clinical best practices, and medical staff interaction, with a focus on the OR and ICU. You will also proctor and support cases in new surgical accounts, as well as complex cases at experienced sites. Additionally, you will perform After Action Review's with MD's following cases and communicate results.
Responsibilities
**Patient Support**: Improve patient outcomes through education and implementing latest clinical best practices. Visit key institutions to collect clinically relevant data and perform After Action Review's with MD's following cases. Proctor and support cases in new surgical accounts and complex cases at experienced sites.
**Surgical Account Training & Management**: Responsible for ongoing training at European surgical key sites. Enable and drive the growth and performance of our surgical business. Coordinate and lead activities with SAM, Franchise Team, Training department, Medical Office, and manage customer education for new and existing accounts to ensure best clinical outcomes. Establish surgical peer-to-peer networks across the region to share best practices and implement/ support peer-to-peer educational programs in cooperation with our Physician Program Team and Medical Office.
**Therapy Development**: Support Abiomed's goal to establish Heart Recovery as a new standard of care.
