About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at TUI. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS.
About You
- Strong expertise in JavaScript language (e.g. ES6/7/8/next, Typescript) or Java, as well as its ecosystem and tooling.
- Experience with implementing resource-oriented APIs (REST, SOUP, GraphQL) on client and server side.
- Experience with data persistence in Oracle/Postgres databases and DynamoDB/MongoDB (SQL/noSQL/PL SQL).
- Expertise in cloud design, infrastructure as code, tools, and services on AWS.
- Knowledge of applying web delivery design principles for websites and web applications for a positive user experience.
- Comfortable working in Agile working environment.
- Good experience with CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI.
- Ability to design, build, test, and deploy applications.
- Fluent in English, with good communication skills for interdisciplinary and international teamwork.
- Customer-centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with good communication skills.
- Understanding of social and ethical implications of software engineering.
- Open-minded, inquisitive, life-long learner.
