Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving the planning and execution of complex technical projects and programs in support of the continuing evolution of HP's software products.

The Technical Product/Program Manager will play a critical role in defining the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap to address problems and opportunities in collaboration with product managers and engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap to address problems and opportunities in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
  • Reaching across functions or departments to mitigate program risks and resolve issues that affect release, scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Driving and tracking software releases, features, and bug fixes, testing, and documentation.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to provide updates, gather requirements, and manage expectations.
  • Allocating resources, including personnel and budgets, to ensure project teams have the necessary support to achieve objectives.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables meet established quality standards and are aligned with business and technical requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program/project management, Agile methodology, and technical acumen, with experience in managing complex technical projects and programs.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of work experience in program/project management, scrum master, professional technology organization, or related field.
  • Agile methodology, JIRA, Kanban principles, Scrum (Software Development) certifications.
