As a Senior Engineering Leader at Ebury, you will be responsible for leading a team focused on Client Evolution development. You will work closely with the product and technology teams to identify and prioritize key areas of a partner's business where AI solutions can drive significant business benefit. Your responsibilities will include understanding company and client challenges, managing product priorities, and representing the team in different forums. You will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing quarterly Engineering KPIs for your team, defining and implementing best practices for monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting of infrastructure and applications, and designing and implementing automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Additionally, you will participate in the design and implementation of new systems and services to ensure they meet our reliability and scalability requirements, manage the team's performance, develop career paths, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members. You will also be responsible for giving regular and clear feedback around an individual's performance, keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and practices, and setting clear team goals. You will have in-depth knowledge of performance metrics, organizational and time-management skills, decision-making skills, and strong knowledge of Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and databases. You will also have proven experience in designing and implementing highly available and scalable applications, hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages, and strong communication and collaboration skills. You will be able to communicate clearly and concisely your ideas in English both written and spoken.
