The Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team and help us build the best mobile application for learning data science. As a key member of our mobile app team, you will have the opportunity to impact our mission and contribute to the development of a mobile experience that increases access and efficacy for learners worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a robust and scalable mobile application for data science learning
  • Collaborate with our team to drive the technical direction of the mobile app product
  • Work with the latest front and backend technologies to solve challenging problems
  • Improve existing learning features and build new ones from the ground up
  • Take ownership of several components in our microservices architecture
  • Interact closely with team members to build things that scale
  • Inspire and grow the engineers around you through support, coaching, and mentoring
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of mobile development experience with a strong track record of launching successful applications
  • Intuitive understanding of common performance problems in mobile applications
  • Experience with technologies such as React Native, GraphQL, and NodeJS
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Pragmatic approach to solving problems and a results-oriented mindset
  • Interest in data science and education
