About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Design Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our electric powertrain team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge battery systems for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement battery design concepts and architectures for electric vehicles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate battery systems with electric powertrains and other vehicle systems.
- Conduct simulations and testing to validate battery performance and safety.
- Optimize battery design for performance, cost, and sustainability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in battery technology and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree + Master (will be a plus)
- Good English level.
- Knowledge of electric powertrains and batteries in particular is valuable.
- High sense of responsibility, goal-orientation and teamwork skills.
- Extra curriculum activities like Formula Student will be valuable.
- Programming or Matlab knowledge will be valuable.
- 3D SW usage like NX or SolidWorks is valuable.
- Ability to manage electrical architecture and CAN/LIN is a plus.
- Professional Experience +3 years.
