**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Analyst to join our team at Veepee. As a key member of our planning department, you will play a crucial role in the creation and maintenance of production planning tools, collaborating with our team to simplify, automate, and train on these tools.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide support in the creation and maintenance of production planning tools built in Google Sheets files:
    • Collaborate with the responsible for creating and maintaining the production planning tools.
    • Assist in the development and enhancement of the tools to optimize the production planning process.
    • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data inputs and outputs in the tools.
    • Identify and troubleshoot any issues or bugs in the tools, working closely with the data analyst to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the simplification and automation of these tools:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and simplify the production planning tools.
    • Collaborate with the data analyst to automate manual processes within the tools.
    • Implement best practices and efficient methodologies to optimize the functionality and usability of the tools.
    • Conduct regular analyses to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements and automation.
  • Support training sessions and new processes:
    • Assist in conducting training sessions for the production planning team on the usage and functionalities of the tools.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members, addressing any questions or issues they may have.
    • Collaborate to develop training materials and documentation for the tools.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and present results:
    • Conduct one-time analysis requests from stakeholders to provide insights into production planning performance and trends.
    • Analyze data from different sources, including the production planning tools, to generate meaningful reports and visualizations.
    • Presentation analysis results in a clear and concise manner, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Help teams understand metrics and calculations:
    • Act as a subject matter expert in production planning metrics and calculations.
    • Educate and guide team members on how to interpret and utilize the metrics to drive decision-making.
    • Provide support in validating and troubleshooting data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Drive the centralization and improvements of Internal Website:
    • Generate and maintain content for the internal website that serves as a guide for users of the planning tools created by the planning department.
    • Regularly monitor and analyze user feedback to identify areas of improvement and make necessary updates to the website's content and functionality.
    • Collaborate with the planning department and other stakeholders to understand any changes or updates to the planning tools and reflect them in the website's content.

**Requirements**

  • Graduated less than 3 years ago
  • Proactive, positive, and enthusiastic attitude with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced in using Microsoft Excel and ideally Google Sheets
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, SQL and RPA
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or programming
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Metabase, LookerStudio, MicroStrategy, Tableau) is a plus
  • Adaptability in a dynamic, multicultural setting
  • Business-oriented mindset
  • English advanced required; knowledge of Spanish and French is a plus
