Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Category Manager to drive growth and excellence in our Toys/Media team. As a key member of our e-commerce platform, you'll be responsible for managing category performance, improving customer experience, and influencing cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage category P&L and drive growth through strategic selection, pricing, and convenience to customers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer and seller experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Account Management, Selection, Product, Marketing) to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze data to inform business decisions and influence stakeholders.
  • Present regular updates to leadership on category performance and initiatives.

Our Toys/Media team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional online shopping experience for customers. We're passionate about innovation and continuously evolving our e-commerce platform to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Basic Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, project management, program management, or buying.
  • Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions.
  • Experience in business analysis and P&L management.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon, with proven execution skills, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. As a Senior Category Manager, you'll have independent ownership of a category, managing the category topline and inputs directly and influencing programs to drive core inputs. You'll also influence external (Seller) and internal (Acc Mgt, Selection, Product, and Marketing) teams to drive business growth.

We're looking for a self-starter with good customer and business understanding, who demonstrates a high level of ownership, bias for action, and customer obsession.
