Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantum Networking

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the IMDEA Networks Institute in Madrid. The successful candidate will work on challenging theoretical problems in Quantum Networking, collaborating with top research groups at the institute and elsewhere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on quantum networking and its applications
- Collaborate with team members to advance the field of quantum networking
- Contribute to the development of new research ideas and projects
Requirements:
- PhD in Physics or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics with a strong grasp on Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information Theory
- Demonstrated record of individual initiative and originality in research
- Strong mathematical/analytical skills with a background in Quantum Information theory, Computer Networking, and Machine Learning
- Programming skills in at least one language (Python/C etc.)
- Knowledge of Qiskit or any other quantum programming language is a strong plus
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory
