We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Sourcing Analyst to join our Procurement Market Intelligence Team at Ecolab. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and cost savings through strategic insights and analytical expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide actionable analytics, metrics, and reporting to enable sourcing teams to deliver business targets.
- Conduct material and spend analyses to identify opportunities for improving cost savings, sales growth, new market development, and structural changes.
- Design, update, and improve tracking and reporting spreadsheets to support business needs.
- Train others in the use of standardized reports, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Aggregate, format, and clean data from multiple sources to enable enterprise-wide insights and analytics.
- Support the vendor bidding process and analyze data to determine optimal outcomes for business needs.
- Identify trends from data and recommend cost or efficiency savings opportunities to drive business growth.
- Manage urgent ad hoc and routine analytical requests to meet the needs of procurement managers.
- Prepare and present presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.
- Identify systemic issues and recommend process improvements to enhance business efficiency.
- Represent purchasing on cross-functional and project teams to drive business outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Finance.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in Supply Chain or analytical roles.
- Proficiency with ERP software (preferably SAP), ACCESS, POWERBI / TABLEAU / QLIKVIEW.
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
