Job Title: Supply Chain Market Analyst

Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Market Analyst to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of the Market Insights team, you will be responsible for analyzing internal and external market data to provide actionable guidance to supply chain functions and business stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with key stakeholders within the Ecolab Supply Chain to provide business transparency and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze data across multiple ERP systems to deliver key insights, make recommendations, and generate meaningful outputs.
  • Capture commodity and logistics market data and create comprehensive market summaries to inform sourcing and business strategies.
  • Own analytics projects from development to implementation, identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving change.
  • Build operational reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support business stakeholders and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date on changing external market dynamics and provide proactive insights to market drivers and changes influencing material costs.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data & analytics within procurement, marketing, R&D, engineering, finance, or supply chain.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with modern BI tools and statistical analysis software.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work with ambiguity, with experience prioritizing, coordinating, and managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficient in communicating with multiple levels within an organization, with experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience building standard reports and dashboards.
  • Skilled in project management, with certification a plus (Green Belt, Black Belt).
  • History of creating, implementing, and continuously improving processes in a changing environment.
  • Proven ability to build relationships cross-functionally and lead toward common goals, influence and lead without authority.
  • Demonstrated business acumen in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting, with a solid understanding of supply chain operations.
