About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Alg Global. As a key member of our consultancy, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering environmental transport consultancy projects to support our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Environmental Aspects: Conduct data collection and analysis on water, waste, energy, and biodiversity to inform project decisions.
  2. Habitats and Ecosystems: Work on projects that involve habitats and ecosystems worldwide, ensuring that our clients' operations are environmentally sustainable.
  3. Environmental Impact Studies: Support the development of environmental impact studies, strategic environmental assessments, and the impact of transport projects in protected areas.
  4. Legislation and Documentation: Analyze legislation and relevant documentation to formulate high-impact recommendations and implementation plans.
  5. Project Documentation: Prepare thorough case assessments and clear project documentation to ensure that our clients' projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Desired Skills and Experience
  1. Master's Degree: A master's degree from a top-tier university program in social sciences or a related field is highly desirable.
  2. Environmental Consultancy Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental consultancy, with expertise in sustainability, water management, habitats and ecosystems, and social aspects.
  3. Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written skills) is essential for this role.
  4. Travel Requirements: Availability to travel is required for this position.
