Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
    • Lead the development of complex software solutions, ensuring high-quality and maintainability
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical requirements and solutions
  • Software Development
    • Design, develop, and test sophisticated software applications, utilizing expertise in programming languages, frameworks, and technologies
    • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
    • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, knowledge bases, and team presentations
  • Problem-Solving and Collaboration
    • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, applying advanced debugging skills and expertise
    • Collaborate with product and analytics teams to drive requirements and solutions
    • Participate in system design sessions, contributing to the development of innovative solutions
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years of experience
    • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, with expertise in programming languages, frameworks, and technologies
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
    • Experience working in OS X and Linux environments, Python frameworks, AWS, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, GIT
    • Experience designing and building JSON or REST services, working with 3rd party APIs, AWS APIs, Docker or other containers, large-scale or distributed web applications, Test Driven Development, and functional testing
