Exciting Opportunity for a Junior Fund Accountant

Allen Recruitment Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Fund Accountant to join their team in Valencia, Spain. As a key member of the accounting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the NAV production process for a private equity client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with net asset value (NAV) calculations for private equity funds.
  • Record capital activities such as capital calls and distributions.
  • Manage cash reconciliations and track cash transactions.
  • Pricing portfolios based on fund documentation.
  • Accrue income and expenses to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare investor statements and respond to client requests for ad-hoc reporting.
About You:
  • Degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 3 months of experience in an internship, trainee, or graduate accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
