We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Lead to join our team at Fagron. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our global sourcing strategy, working closely with regional teams to drive centralized direct and indirect sourcing efforts. You will be responsible for managing global suppliers and collaborating with regional procurement leaders to maximize value from suppliers. Key drivers include quality, speed, and cost efficiency. You will have a strong network of suppliers and be able to negotiate and convince skills in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplined environment.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement global sourcing strategy and plans
* Liaise and negotiate with key suppliers to deliver efficiencies and new business opportunities
* Ensure strategy, processes, and tools are in place and continuously optimized to source at the best possible conditions
* Collaborate with regional procurement leaders in developing and implementing strategic initiatives
* Expand and nurture collaboration with important internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, quality, and sales

Requirements:

* Master's degree in economics and business or supply chain management
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role at a procurement position in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably raw materials)
* Strong network of suppliers around the globe
* Additional higher education in purchase (e.g., NEVI3)
* Fluent in English
* Understanding of cGMP and other pharmaceutical quality requirements
* Track record in negotiating and convincing skills in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplined environment
* Cross-functional thinking, understanding business issues, and defining business parameters
* Hands-on, flexible mindset and eager to take up challenges
* Ability to score, drive results, and take accountability
* Persuasive, able to build positive relationships with ease and influence at all levels
