This exciting opportunity seeks an experienced Retail Data Science Lead with a strong background in the Retail CPG and Manufacturing industry. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, model, and drive data-driven insights that elevate decision-making and create strategic advantages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and apply the latest data science techniques to solve business problems in the Retail, CPG, and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Design and implement advanced predictive models to examine trends and behaviors in these industries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from data engineering, product, and business teams to comprehend objectives and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Develop data models and pipelines to support analytical and machine learning initiatives.
  • Leverage domain expertise in Retail CPG and Manufacturing to produce insights and identify growth opportunities.
  • Present insights, recommendations, and data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain best practices in data science and machine learning, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.
  • Support and develop a growing team of experienced Data Scientists.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 9-10 years of hands-on work experience in Manufacturing.
  • Ability to lead domain conversations on a solution consulting level.
  • Proficiency in Spanish language.
  • Strong skills in Python (pipeline creation, pytest, data manipulation with Pandas), R, SQL, and proficiency in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Domain knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Retail CPG industry, especially Smart Manufacturing Experience. Familiarity with industry-specific data systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Bias for action, task prioritization, and time management.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
