We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team, focusing on Retail CPG and Agro-industry expertise. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven insights, enhance decision-making, and create strategic advantages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop advanced predictive models to analyze trends and behaviors in Retail CPG and Agro sectors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and provide data-driven solutions.
• Design and implement data pipelines to support analytical and machine-learning initiatives.
• Leverage domain knowledge in Retail CPG and Agro to produce insights and identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and present insights, recommendations, and data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain best practices in data science and machine learning, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate, coach, and learn with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists.
• Stay connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements.
Requirements:
• 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a focus on Retail CPG and Agro-industry.
• Proficient in Python (pipeline creation, pytest, data manipulation with Pandas), R, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
• Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Retail CPG industry, especially in Agro, familiarity with industry-specific datasets, trends, and KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to various audiences.
• Bias for action, with the ability to deliver outstanding results through task prioritization and time management.
The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per annum.
